Greetings Tumblr

My first post! (introductory music plays as evident statement is made). For a while I didn’t want to join Tumblr because it was too popular, and I figured it would only add to my love/hate relationship with the Internet. Although I have been bitten by the blogging bug, I refuse to fall into one of the many Tumblr traps I have seen. It has come to my attention that the Internet could be totally cool, but people with too many emotional issues / self confidence go about and soil it. I will try my hardest to uphold my Internet morals and avoid the following at all costs.

“Cry Baby Blogging”: when people ramble about their personal problems that other people don’t care about. This type of blogging is humiliating for both the blogger and reader. Dramatic statements and bad poetry are unneeded. Please bury your feelings.

“Playlist Puking”: when people feel the need to share their top 30 favorite songs of all time, complete with paragraphs explaining why each song is oh so special.

“Picture Pile Up”: when people put picture after picture up. Words are a wonderful thing.

“The Never Ending Blog”: this post may be borderline “never-ending”, but when a blog is reaching the length of the Iliad, it becomes a chore to read. A paragraph or two is perfect.

Just my two cents on having some sense :)
